Instant rebates of $650 and $850 may be available (at the time of purchase) for customers who meet KCP&L's rebate qualifications and replace their inefficient equipment with qualified new equipment rated at 14/15 SEER or 16 SEER and above. In addition, you could also be eligible for a $300 federal tax credit.

• No paperwork is required to claim this rebate incentive for those who qualify. When purchasing a new high-efficiency system, the KCP&L certified CheckMe!-trained HVAC professional will list the KCP&L Air Conditioning Upgrade Rebate on the invoice in the form of a credit or discount off the purchase price.
