What is the difference between an authorized and unauthorized pay location?   There may be businesses in your area that offer to accept KCP&L payments but are doing so without authorization from KCP&L. If payments are made at these unauthorized locations KCP&L cannot guarantee your payment and cannot validate your receipt number. Help protect the security of your payment by using one of our Authorized Pay Locations.

When paying to restore service, please call KCP&L to report your payment and schedule reconnection.

Bring your monthly bill - it's required at most locations. NOTE:  Some Authorized Pay Locations in Missouri add a modest fee for processing your payment, but never more than $1. Kansas locations do not charge a fee. Your payment will be credited within one business day.
