Is the C&I Rebate Program still available in Missouri?
Yes. The C&I Rebate Program is still available in Missouri and there are no changes currently contemplated.
I have received a letter from KCP&L stating that I have received pre-approval for a project that I am doing in Kansas. Will I still receive a rebate upon completion of my project and submittal of my receipts?
The pre-approval letter from KCP&L states that you will have up to six months from the date of the letter to complete the project. KCP&L will continue to honor your rebate upon completion of your project within the specified six-month timeframe. Funds will no longer be available in Kansas upon expiration of the pre-approval letter
When is the last date that I can submit an application for pre-approval?
Applications for pre-approval must be submitted within 30 days of the KCC’s approval of KCP&L’s request to suspend the program. Applications for pre-approval received after this date will not be processed.

I have submitted my receipts for my completed project but have not received my rebate yet. Will I still receive my rebate? If so, when?
If you received a pre-approval from KCP&L and have submitted receipts, you will receive your rebate. There is often a 4 week lag between submittal of receipts and when the rebate credit appears on your bill. If you have any questions to determine if we have received the proper paperwork to process your bill credit or to confirm the status of your rebate, please contact your Energy Consultant or a Commercial Consultant at
