How do I apply for the affordable new home rebates?
Once the builder installs the energy efficient product(s), he must complete the rebate application and provide the appropriate invoices that correspond to the installed measure and provide the appropriate invoices corresponding to the installed measure.
What is ENERGY STAR?
It is a government-sponsored program that helps businesses and individuals protect the environment through superior energy efficiency.
How do I know if a product I'm installing meets ENERGY STAR requirements?
Currently, there are more than 50 different product categories that are eligible to earn the ENERGY STAR label. These product categories range from appliances and home electronics to office equipment and lighting. To see if your product is eligible to earn the ENERGY STAR designation, please refer to the ENERGY STAR Program Requirements.

How much are the rebates?
- $800 toward energy-efficient central cooling equipment (14 SEER or greater)
- $400 toward insulation upgrades R42 Attic, R25 Floor or R19 Crawlspace
- $200 toward an ENERGY STAR-rated refrigerator
- $100 toward ENERGY STAR-rated lighting fixtures
Do I have to do all the measures in order to get the rebate?
In order to take advantage of the maximum incentive available, we recommend installing all of the efficiency upgrades listed. However, any number of the recommended upgrades can be implemented and the appropriate incentive amount will be provided.
If I build more than one home can I get multiple rebates?
The incentive amounts are capped at $1,500.00 per home. However, incentives are available for different homes.
Does building a multi-family dwelling count?
This program is available for builders constructing multi-family dwellings up to a maximum of four family residences.
